We are always keen to receive any records you may wish to make following your dives, particularly Seasearch Surveyor recording forms. If you're not aware of the Seasearch project, which is overseen by the Marine Conservation Society, full details of the project can be found on the MCS Seasearch website here.
At present, all of the projects listed here are for divers to undertake; we hope to have some projects for non-divers to help with soon.
All of these projects are relatively straightforward to carry out. They are suitable for all levels of recording ability/experience. Here’s what you need to do:
- Read the Project Description sheet carefully, especially the Methodology section.
- Take a recording slate with you on your dive that’s attached to your person.
- Take an underwater camera with you if possible. Your photographs will help others to confirm your results.
- Make sure you complete the on-line recording form as soon as possible after your dive (or else you’ll forget to do it!), together with any photos you’ve taken.
